The Axiom II-X cast perfect with proper line weight, but it can handle the half-life weights of a redfish or bass style taper. I haven't been able to cast the new LK Legacy yet. The Axiom II-X is faster than the Mangrove Coast. The Mangrove takes a longer, slower casting stroke, but it is smooth. So a lot will depend on your personal casting style.

If you want distance, I would choose the Axiom II-X; especially if you prefer to carry line over shooting it. The Mangrove will shoot plenty of line, but it is more moderate in action than the Axiom.
