Need to Recharge Your Life? Book a Trip Now!
Today is the last day of October, which means that 2017 is nearing its end. We are hitting that time of year when life gets busier and busier; Thanksgiving meals, Christmas shopping, Christmas trips, and then New Year. This busy time can drain the energy from anyone. It seems we are constantly being dragged from one event to another, burning the candle at both ends to make sure we get everything done; visit here, visit there, run here to grab something, gotta go over here for a meal, gotta make it to the school for a presentation, don't forget the work party, Secret Santa, the tree and the gift for anyone. Add in work, the house, and the normal day-to-day activities! Yep, it's enough to break you, make you scream, and make you really dislike this time of year!
Well, how about a day to recharge yourself!? You deserve it, you need it, and I can make it happen! A day where all you do is show up and relax! The perfect day, designed around your specific wishes, where your only task for the day is to leave the world behind; focus on fishing, focus on taking pictures, or just enjoy a cruise along the water for a couple of hours. Study after study has shown how stressful this time of year can be and how hard it is on our personal health and well being. These same studies also show that taking a few moments to refocus ourselves, energize our mind and bodies, while doing what we love, is the best way to make sure we complete all of this with a smile on our face instead of that all too familiar scowl.
Here's what I want you to imagine:
The day starts as you step onto the boat, with a warm cup of coffee in your hand. For once, you actually notice the way the steam of the hot drink rises from the cup. Instinctively you inhale deeply, taking in the aroma of the coffee and the salty, cool air. You can begin to feel your shoulders relax, the muscles in your neck lose tension and for the first time in a while, you begin to ease your mind. The boat eases away from the dock and all of the problems (hectic schedules, screaming bosses and customers, trying to find the perfect gift, traffic, grumpy people,) are left behind; they can't reach you at this moment, you are free. We begin gliding across the water and you begin taking in the scenery. The sun glistening off the water surface as it begins to rise above the palm trees, a dolphin breaking the surface as it searches for breakfast, the call of an osprey as it flies above head; nature, at her finest, is overloading your senses and reminding you of how spectacular she is. At this moment, the day is full of promise and all dreams are possible. It's why I call this part "Chasing the Dream"!
It doesn't matter what your dream is, it can happen. See, there haven't been any missed casts, no stepping on fly line, no fly line tangling, no casting at the fish's tail or striking them in the head. Instead, you get to picture yourself making that perfect presentation, enticing the fish to eat, fighting a perfect battle, and watching yourself lift the fish from the water in victory. Photographers can focus their minds on getting that perfect snapshot, with the light at the right angle, the focal point being in perfect position, and the target cooperating for the moment to be captured for all eternity. For the cruiser, it's all about just being in the moment; taking it all in and enjoying it.
The remainder of the day depends on what you want to do. No matter what it is, all focus from me will be making sure we do everything we can to make the dream come true. My effort is focused on you, making sure the day is all it can be, making sure you are as relaxed as possible, and making sure when all is said and done, you have the biggest smile on your face that you can. My goal is to make sure when we get back you have replaced the scowl with a smile, you're energized and ready to face the world, and you've had the best day that you've had in months.
It's time! It's time to focus on YOU for a day, to re-focus, re-energize, and remember why it is you work so hard; to enjoy life and all that it has to offer! You won't be disappointed and it can make a huge difference in your outlook on this otherwise busy time! All you have to do is pick your trip (SERVICES) and then meet me. The rest of the work is done for you!
